Dreamers' Guild Charter

Dreamers is an Alliance faction guild on the Alleria server in the game World of Warcraft. If you don't know what the heck that means, I imagine you're in the wrong place. :)
Mission
To boldly go where... Seriously, how does a guild have a mission statement? I mean that's supposed to be the fundamental underpinnings of any "Charter". Hmmm, well I guess I can give it a go...sit back and relax, try not to fall asleep.
The Mission™ of the guild Dreamers is to have fun and build a strong community. I know, sounds lame, but that is the core goal of our guild. We try to schedule all sorts of activities, but a lot of what we do is simply pickup within the guild.
Secondary objective I would say is to advance in the end-game. We are solidly running Naxx and OS and are looking to advance into other 10 man content. That said, we also have a significant number of folks who don't enjoy the end-game and love to play up alts and hit the 5 man runs.
All-in-all, we are pretty laid back. We take our fun seriously and kickin' it with the guildies.
Structure
We have a very simple strata in Dreamers: Officers, Members, and Applicants. There are typically around 3-6 officers all holding equal weight in voting with the Guild Leader holding ability to veto, which is rarely, if ever used. Officers formulate guild direction, policies, and plans. All items are discussed in the officers private forum and then moved to the guild-viewable forum for final adjustments before a final vote (when needed). Bannable offenses are instant if warranted. Other offenses are talked about and voted on by the officers.
Direction
Looking to the future? Who knows where we'll end up, but one this is assured, we'll have fun getting there. Progress is being made in 10 man content, but we're going to keep the pressure low.
